2007 Imdiscog.com Annual Fundraiser

You may have noticed here on the main page that there's a Paypal link. Of course, you may not have. Anyway, it's not free running a website like this and because this is not a commercial site, we're not making a dime.

But with the cost of webhosting and software upgrades, we're dependent on either my pocketbook or yours to keep this site running. So with that in mind...here's how you can help out.

For the Top 5 donations received (of $10 or more) by October 31st, we'll send you a free Small Planes promotional photo courtesy of WhatAreRecords.com.

These photos aren't available any longer, and you probably won't find these on Ebay anytime soon. Click the donate icon below to read the disclaimer and find out how you can donate to Imdiscog.com.

"I Remember Me" and "Black Sheep Wall" videos

You can now view the videos for "I Remember Me" and "Black Sheep Wall" courtesy of SingingFool.com (now owned by VideoDetective.com).

I just leared today that the Korean release of We Walked In Song (in addition to the Japanese, Taiwanese and LP versions) also contains the bonus track track: "Shooting Star (sketch)". The Korean version is being released through Pastel Music.

Also found on Pastel Music is their 2nd Sampler, Pastel Music Presents CD Sampler Vol.2 with the track, "500 Miles".

1986 Pennsylania Musician Magazine - Part 3

In part three of our Musician Magazine feature, we reprint the second half of the article, Originality Isn't A Four Letter Word which was written by John Lewis in December of 1986.

One particularly interesting note from the article, the song "Giants" which had been included on pre-debut album setlist is actually, "Giants and Windmills". If anyone
runs across a recording of this song, please let us know.

Next week's final update will include several photos from the magazine. Below is the December issue cover.

Lancaster Online recently published an article that may be of interest to Innocence Mission fans.

Mike Bitts was interviewed and had a few interesting things to say about freelancing. Be sure to read the article.

1986 Pennsylania Musician Magazine - Part 2

In part two of our Musician Magazine feature, we reprint the first half of the article, Originality Isn't A Four Letter Word which was written by John Lewis in December of 1986.

Next week, we'll feature part two of that article.

Also below is the same photo used on the Tending The Rose Garden EP minus the pink squiggly lines, but of course in black and white.

YouTube videos galore

There's finally a new live video available at YouTube courtesy of Lamp Records. Recently, Karen and Don performed in-studio (where I'm not quite sure of yet) the track "Brotherhood of Man".

If you're bored and looking for even more Innocence Mission videos to watch at YouTube, then click the images below to be surprised or hover over for more information.

Eddie Vedder Covers Hard Sun

Back in 1989 Karen, along with Joni Mitchell, contributed vocals to the song "Hard Sun" on Big Harvest, the debut (and only) album by Indio. Eddie Vedder covers the song for Into The Wild, the soundtrack to Sean Penn's new movie. Corin Tucker (Sleater-Kinney) sings background vocals this time around.

1986 Pennsylania Musician Magazine - Part 1

Over the next month, we'll be publishing several updates in regardings to a purchase I recently made of a 1986 issue of Pennsylvania Musician Magazine.

The first update includes a tour schedule advert using the same photography used on the Tending The Rose Garden album cover.
