WXPN "Key Studio Sessions" performance

The Innocence Mission traveled to WXPN recently to record a handful of songs live for The Key Studio Sessions all of which are available for download and streaming at SoundCloud.

Surprise performance sighting

On November 22nd, Karen and Don Peris performed during the encore of the Ocean Blue's show at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA. The song performed was a cover of "I'll Be Your Mirror" by The Velvet Underground. You can see the clip below.

Japanese anthology album "For Quiet Corner"

On November 25th, P-Vine will be releasing the first Innocence Mission anthology album (import only from Japan), For Quiet Corner. The 24-track album combines a combination of recently released songs from the band, as well a handful of tracks found on Don and Karen's solo projects.

On December 2nd, P-Vine will also be releasing Hello I Feel The Same in Japan. There appears to be one bonus track, "At Sea".

Mark your calendar! Lancaster Roots & Blues Fest 2016

Although there has been no official announcement from the band, The Innocence Mission are scheduled to play live publically for the first time since 2004 at the Lancaster Roots & Blues Festival next year. There is no word yet if there will be any touring to follow. This may end up being a one shot performance.

New album "Hello I Feel The Same" available for pre-order!

The Innocence Mission's new 11-track album, Hello I Feel The Same is now available for pre-order through Bandcamp.com. The album is being released digitally, as well as on CD and a limited pressing 12" vinyl in the US. No details have yet been released regarding an international release.

Pre-orders begins on September 23th for iTunes and October 16th at retail outlets nationwide.

Korda Records announces signing of The Innocence Mission

Minneapolis start-up label, Korda Records, has officially announced the signing of The Innocence Mission for the band's next album due to release in October. Korda Records is a co-op label created by friend David Schelzel (of the Ocean Blue) and such artists as Allison LaBonne, Brian Tighe and Jim Ruiz.

The band will begin taking pre-orders for the new album later this month. No album details have been released at this time.

Super Genius Reunion Show

Update 9/1/2016: Tim Kwiat has pasted some photos from the rehearsal as well as details about the show.

Update 5/15/2015: The show has been rescheduled to May 31st.

Original post: Tim Kwiat, Mike Bitts and Steve Brown will be reuniting on Sunday, April 26th at Ephrata Main for a reunion show. The entire album will be performed along with a few new songs and covers. Doors open at 2pm and admission is free.
